What is ServerShot?
ServerShot helps you prepare for Korean concert and musical ticketing. Check an estimate of a ticket site's server time, browse ticket openings, and practice seat selection and CAPTCHA entry before a sale.
How to prepare for Korean ticketing
Check a ticket site's server time
- Enter the ticket site's domain and press Check server time, or choose a site button such as NOL, YES24, Ticketlink or Melon Ticket.
- Check the selected domain, connection status and estimated error below the clock. If measurement fails, the page displays your device time instead.
- Use the music preview before enabling an alarm. Complete your actual booking, identity checks and payment on the official ticket site.
How the clock is estimated
ServerShot examines the target website's HTTP Date header and request and response times. It estimates the time difference from repeated responses and network delay.
Recent measurements for the same domain may be reused for up to 60 seconds. The browser advances the clock from the received estimate; it does not contact the ticket site for every displayed millisecond.
Read the estimated error
The .000 display shows thousandths of a second. It does not mean the measurement is accurate to one millisecond.
Network conditions, caching, different servers and device settings can affect the result. The website's response time is not guaranteed to match the booking or payment system's internal clock.
Before tickets open
- Check the official notice for the sale date, time zone and presale or general-sale eligibility.
- Prepare your official ticket account, any required identity verification and payment method.
- Use the ticket calendar as a starting point and recheck the official notice before booking.
- Seat selection and CAPTCHA games are practice tools. Their layouts and behavior can differ from real ticketing sites.
ServerShot is an independent timing and practice tool, not an official ticket seller. It does not reserve seats, bypass queues or guarantee a successful booking.
Questions from overseas fans
What is server time?
Server time is the clock used by a website’s server. ServerShot estimates it from the target site’s public web response. It may differ from Korean Standard Time, your device clock or the internal system processing a booking, so check the connection status and estimated uncertainty.
Do I need to refresh the clock constantly?
No. The browser advances the clock after a measurement. Press SHOT! to request another measurement, but a recent result may be reused. Repeated clicks do not necessarily improve accuracy.
Why does the clock differ from my phone?
Your device's synchronization, the target website's response and network delay can differ. A difference between two clocks does not prove which one is more accurate.
Does clicking at 00 seconds guarantee tickets?
No. Queues, network delay, ticket availability, sale rules and the ticket seller's internal processing all affect the result.
Are all performance details translated?
Performance titles and official notices may remain in Korean. Use the official ticket site's information to confirm eligibility, time zones, prices and booking terms.
